“Do you not know that he who is joined to a harlot is one body with her? For ‘the two,’ He says, ‘shall become one flesh.'” (1 Corinthians 6:16) [Emphasis added]
Each time we join with another person, we take into ourselves the iniquities they carry. If they have been with many others, they have accumulated the iniquities of each of those partners. From one single union, we inherit this compounded burden. The numbers grow exponentially.
Consider that some of these partners may have engaged in acts we would never imagine, such as bestiality, murder, or other grievous sins. These iniquities are then passed on to our spouses and any children conceived after extramarital encounters. Think about it: one liaison with a prostitute can defile an entire generational line.
The message here is profound. While the physical consequences of promiscuity can be severe, the spiritual consequences are far graver. The spiritual entities that accompany these acts can wreak havoc far beyond what we can see.
